Ad Click

What does Ad Click mean?

An Ad Click (Advertisement Click) refers to a click by users/customers/interested parties on a specific advertising medium. The advertising medium can be an advertising banner, a link in the text content or a button with an additional link. With Ad Click, you get a tool to control the popularity of your own website. The insertion of Ad Click advertisements is usually free of charge. Only after the click and complete opening of a website or a landing page do you have to pay fees. At least such a procedure is common with Google AdWords or Yahoo Search Marketing. If the advertising medium is only clicked on and the opening website is directly closed again, this click does not count as an ad click subject to a fee.

Example:

You have a mobile shop and an interested customer clicks on the banner of one of your special offers on the Internet. While the corresponding offer page is being set up, the interested customer thinks it over and immediately closes the mobile phone shop page again. This “call” of the offer page alone does not count as an “Ad Click”. Only when the called page is completely loaded, the click of the Internet user counts.

Measure the response size with Ad Click

With Ad Click, it is easy to keep an eye on the success of an advertising campaign. Every single click with the mouse is counted, even if no purchase or order has been made. If the advertising campaign is successful, the more clicks the advertising banner or the built-in link will receive. Usually, this overview of the number of mouse clicks can be used to create further helpful statistics and evaluate them in the advertising management system. This is particularly important in order not to reach random Internet users, but a precisely defined group of interested parties and potential customers.

Targeted advertising with keywords for more clicks

It is helpful to pay attention to certain keywords so that customers/readers/ interested parties can be reached via the Internet. Only with the right keywords, which are entered in the Google search, the probability of addressing the right interested parties is noticeably higher. It is not only important where a link points to, but also the appearance and size of a banner or button. In the World Wide Web, the sizes 125 x 125, 468 x 60 or even 728 x 90 pixels have prevailed for banners. However, keywords have to be used in a measured manner in order not to be moved “down” on Google.
